Patient booking & serial queue, sorted

Let patients self-book a serial from a public link, run the day's waiting queue on any device, send T-24h SMS reminders, and consult by video — one account for a Bangladeshi chamber's whole patient flow.

In short

Doctor appointment and serial booking software lets a chamber take appointments and run its waiting queue without a paper serial book. With Prescriply, patients self-book a serial from a public link, walk-ins are registered alongside them, every serial is allocated so two can never collide, and the queue runs on any device — with an optional T-24h SMS reminder and a built-in, free video-consult room. It works across every chamber you sit in.

Why patient flow is the bottleneck: Bangladesh has just 0.722 physicians per 1,000 people (World Bank, 2023), so a busy chamber runs long serial queues — and remote consults are recognised for registered doctors under the BM&DC Telemedicine Guideline (2020). Prescriply runs both the in-person serial queue and the video consult from one account.

What it does

Everything for a chamber's patient flow

Not just a calendar. Booking, serials, the queue, reminders and video — one account, across every chamber you sit in.

Online self-booking

Share a public /book link and patients reserve a serial themselves. Booking is off by default — a profile is bookable only once you turn it on.

Serial & waiting queue

Every serial is allocated under a per-chamber lock, so two can never collide. Run the queue from any device; walk-ins register alongside online bookings.

Scan-to-book QR poster

Print an A4 poster with a QR to your booking link for the chamber wall — walk-in patients scan and book their own serial.

T-24h SMS reminders

Switch on a day-before reminder per chamber. Billed from your prepaid SMS wallet — pay per message, no monthly fee. New bookings also alert you.

Built-in telemedicine

Start an ad-hoc video consult room and share it by link — no separate app, keys or setup, and no per-minute charge.

Assistant can run it

A scoped assistant account can register patients, take fees and run the serial and queue for the chambers you allow — but cannot create prescriptions.

How it works

From booking to consult, in four steps

Turn it on once, then the day runs itself.

  1. 1

    Turn on booking

Enable online booking in Settings and share your public link — /book/your-handle — or print a scan-to-book QR poster for the chamber wall.

  2. 2

    The patient books a serial

From the link, a patient picks a chamber and session and books a serial themselves. It arrives as an appointment, no phone call needed.

  3. 3

    Run the day's queue

Serials are allocated so two can never collide. Register walk-ins alongside them and run the waiting queue from any device — an assistant can too.

  4. 4

    Remind and consult

Switch on the optional T-24h SMS reminder per chamber, and start a free video room for a remote consult when a patient can't come in.

FAQ

Appointment & serial booking, answered

What is doctor appointment and serial booking software?

It is software that lets a doctor's patients reserve a serial or appointment and lets the chamber run the day's waiting queue. In Prescriply, patients self-book a serial from a public link, walk-ins are registered alongside them, and the queue runs on any device — with optional SMS reminders and video consults.

How does online booking work?

You enable booking in Settings and share your public link (/book/your-handle) or a scan-to-book QR poster. A patient opens it, picks a chamber and session, and books a serial themselves — it arrives as an appointment in your app. Online booking is off by default, so a profile is only bookable once you turn it on.

How are serial numbers and the queue managed?

Every serial — whether a patient booked it online or your front desk registered a walk-in — is allocated under a per-chamber lock, so two patients can never receive the same serial even during a rush. You run the resulting waiting queue from any device, and a scoped assistant can run it too.

Can patients get appointment reminders?

Yes. A T-24h SMS reminder can be switched on per chamber; it is billed from your prepaid SMS wallet, so you pay per message with no monthly fee. Patients who book online also get a booking confirmation, and you get an alert for each new booking so you never miss one.

Does it support telemedicine?

Yes. You can start an ad-hoc video consult room and share it with a patient by link — no separate app, keys or setup, and no per-minute charge. It is built in, so a patient who cannot come to the chamber can still be seen on the same day.

Is appointment booking free?

Online booking, serial allocation and the waiting queue are included on every plan, including the Free plan. Telemedicine is free too. The only pay-as-you-go cost is the optional SMS reminder, which is billed per message from your prepaid SMS wallet.
